This is a magical village of five ceramic houses, created in the style of old world Amsterdam houses. Every house has a unique personality with intricate details. I love the third house with a mysterious staircase leading up to an red door on the back. This village fits together like a puzzle when put into the order pictured and measures five inches wide!
DIMENSIONS OF VILLAGE:
5 inches wide
2 inches tall
3/4 inches deep
These are made from solid clay, and have a heavy and sturdy feel in the hand. They are fired at cone 6 and use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish.
What would one do with an artsy village of miniature houses? They look adorably unassuming perched on a shelf, but will be the first thing guests ask about! People often set them on their desk to inspire joy throughout the workday. Some incorporate them into fairy garden landscapes. These would also be a wonderful housewarming gift or a unique birthday gift for someone who loves to travel.
These will be carefully packaged in bubble wrap.
Materials - Stoneware Clay, Nontoxic Glaze
All of my ceramics are handmade by me in Columbia, MO
All materials used are non-toxic
Based in Columbia, Missouri, I am a small batch potter! I work at my local neighborhood studio and work in ceramics as often as I can until my summer job as a wedding photographer starts up! If you are local to Columbia, feel free to reach out. Ceramics are such a tactile thing, and I'm always happy to show my work in person if possible! ;)
