This is a unique bud vase "house" made from ceramic stoneware clay. This house has a single hole drilled (and fully glazed to be water tight) to hold a little bouquet of flowers, a few herb sprigs or to display feathers! I love the secret staircase to a red door on the side of this house. There is a blind waves pattern on the back!
This house is 4 1/2 inches tall and 1 3/4 inches wide. This vase is made from solid clay and has a heavy, sturdy feel in the hand. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish.
What would one do with whimsical house vase? This would look adorably unassuming perched on a shelf. People often use them for teacher appreciation gifts, unique birthday gifts or a special present for someone who needs a bit a whimsy!
