This is a unique bud vase "house" made from ceramic stoneware clay. This house has a single hole drilled (and fully glazed to be water tight) to hold a little bouquet of flowers, a pencil or a few feathers! I love the whimsical staircase through the clouds to the arched door, and there is a tiny cat in the window next to the door! This house also has a blind wave pattern on the sides.
This house is 4 inches tall and 1 3/4 inches wide. This vase is made from solid clay and has a heavy, sturdy feel in the hand. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish.
What would one do with whimsical house vase? This would look adorably unassuming perched on a shelf. People often use them for teacher appreciation gifts or housewarming gifts. This would make an awesome get well present with a sprig of herbs.
