This is a unique bud vase "house" made from ceramic stoneware clay. This house has a single hole drilled (and fully glazed to be water tight) to hold a little bouquet of flowers, a pencil or a few feathers! I love the red and white hot air balloon on the front and the whimsical clouds and door in the sky!
This house is 3 inches tall and just over 2 inches wide. This piece is made from solid clay and has a heavy, sturdy feel in the hand. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish.
What would one do with whimsical house vase? This would look adorably unassuming perched on a shelf. People often use them for get well gifts or housewarming gifts. This would make an awesome get well gift with a sprig of herbs.
