Welcome to the mushroom hamlet! This little village has a mushroom house and two tiny cottages to go along with it. I love the underside of mushroom with a surprise of red spots. The mushroom also has a hole in the stem, which can be used with a dowel rod to hold this mushy steady if you choose to put it into a plant or a fairy garden!
These are made from solid clay, and fired at cone 6. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish.
The mushroom is 1 1/2 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches wide. The little houses are shorter than an inch!
What would one do with ceramic mushroom town? This would be a great gift for any mushroom lover in your life. They would also make a great housewarming gift for someone who loves nature. I started making these because I wanted mushrooms in my fairy garden outside!
These will be carefully packaged in upcycled wrapping to ensure a safe delivery.

Based in Columbia, Missouri, I am a small batch potter! I work at my local neighborhood studio (SquarePeg) and work in ceramics as often as I can until my summer job as a wedding photographer starts up! If you are local to Columbia, feel free to reach out. Ceramics are such a tactile thing, and I'm always happy to show my work in person if possible! ;)
