This is a larger (3 1/4 inch tall by 2 3/4 inch wide) bud vase house with a bright sunshine on the front and two buzzing dragonflies. It has a single 3/8" diameter drilled hole 3 inches deep to hold a tiny bouquet of flowers, greenery or even a pencil!
My houses are made from solid clay, and they have a heavy, sturdy feel in the hand. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish.
What would one do with a whimsical ceramic vase? This would look adorably unassuming perched on a shelf. People often use them for get well gifts or housewarming gifts. This would make an awesome architect gift or unique birthday gift.
This will be carefully packaged in upcycled wrapping to ensure a safe delivery.
Materials - Stoneware Clay, Nontoxic Glaze
All of my ceramics are handmade by me in Columbia, MO
All materials used are non-toxic
Based in Columbia, Missouri, I am a small batch potter! I work at my local neighborhood studio (SquarePeg) and work in ceramics as often as I can until my summer job as a wedding photographer starts up! If you are local to Columbia, feel free to reach out. Ceramics are such a tactile thing, and I'm always happy to show my work in person if possible! ;)
