This is a little ceramic village set of five different style houses. The tallest house has a stone texture and measures just about 3 inches tall. When put together, this village fits together like a puzzle and measures 6 inches wide.
These houses are solid clay, so they have a heavy, sturdy feel in the hand. These are made from stoneware clay, and fired at cone six. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish.
What would one do with a little set of clay houses? They look adorably unassuming perched on a shelf. People often use them for terrarium decor or fairy garden landscapes. These would also make a wonderful get well gift or a Mother's Day present for someone who loves small, artistically unique things! :)
These will be carefully packaged in bubble wrap.
Materials - Stoneware Clay, Nontoxic Glaze
All of my ceramics are handmade by me in Columbia, MO
All materials used are non-toxic
Based in Columbia, Missouri, I am a small batch potter! I work at my local neighborhood studio (SquarePeg) and work in ceramics as often as I can until my summer job as a wedding photographer starts up! If you are local to Columbia, feel free to reach out. Ceramics are such a tactile thing, and I'm always happy to show my work in person if possible! ;)
