This is an adorable miniature ceramic village of houses with rainbow doors. I love the cat in the window of the fourth house. Every house has a different personality with intricate details and these fit together like a puzzle with put in rainbow order. All together, this village measures 3 1/4 inches wide.
These are made from solid stoneware clay, and fired at cone 6. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish.
What would one do with a little village of clay houses? This would be a wonderful birthday gift for anyone who likes rainbows and cats. People often set these on a windowsill where they say looking at them brings a smile to their face! Some folks set them up at their kitchen table as part of a centerpiece. This would be the perfect tiny gift for a catsitter or as a teacher appreciation gift.
These will be carefully packaged in upcycled bubble wrap.
Materials - Stoneware Clay, Nontoxic Glaze
All of my ceramics are handmade by me in Columbia, MO using nontoxic materials.
Based in Columbia, Missouri, I am a small batch potter! I work at my local neighborhood studio and work in ceramics as often as I can until my summer job as a wedding photographer starts up!
