This is a miniature set of ceramic houses that fit together like a puzzle. This set of four little clay houses has a whimsical happy vibe. I love the stucco style of the second house and the sunshine with a "hello" message on the last house!
These are made from porcelain clay, and fired at cone 6. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish.
The width of all of these put together is 5 inches. The tallest house with the scallop roof is 2 1/2 inches tall.
What would one do with a miniature village of houses? They look adorably unassuming as a village perched on a shelf. People often use them for terrarium decor. Some incorporate them into fairy garden landscapes. Once in a while I will put one in my pocket and hide it in a friend's home, only to be found at the perfect moment said friend looks above their window molding. These would also be such a magical gift for a friend who loves to travel the world!
These will be carefully packaged in upcycled wrapping to ensure a safe delivery.
Materials - Porcelain Clay, Nontoxic Glaze
All of my ceramics are handmade by me in Columbia, MO
All materials used are non-toxic
Based in Columbia, Missouri, I am a small batch potter! I work at my local neighborhood studio and work in ceramics as often as I can until my summer job as a wedding photographer starts up! If you are local to Columbia, feel free to reach out. Ceramics are such a tactile thing, and I'm always happy to show my work in person if possible! ;)
