This is a modern style village of four ceramic houses and one tree with a woodland pattern. This would be a lovely artsy addition to the mantle. Each house has a different personality with intricate details. These are made from solid stoneware clay and have a heavy, sturdy feel in the hand. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish. When put together, this village measures 5 inches wide and the tree is just over 3 inches tall.
What would one do with a little village of clay houses? This would be a lovely natural toy for a Waldorf or Montessori household. These would also be a sweet small gift for a coworker or family member around the holidays.
These will be carefully packaged in upcycled bubble wrap.
