This is a whimsical village of ceramic houses in an "old world" style similar to the famous Amsterdam houses. Each house has a different personality with intricate details. I especially love the cobblestone texture of the tallest house (2 inches). These are made from solid clay and have a heavy, sturdy feel in the hand. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish.
What would one do with a little village of clay houses? These add that magical vibe to any little shelf or windowsill in your home. This little town would also make a sweet Mother's Day gift.
These will be carefully packaged in upcycled wrapping.
Materials - Stoneware Clay, Nontoxic Glaze
All of my ceramics are handmade by me in Columbia, MO
All materials used are non-toxic
Based in Columbia, Missouri, I am a small batch potter! I work at my local neighborhood studio and work in ceramics as often as I can until my summer job as a wedding photographer starts up! If you are local to Columbia, feel free to reach out. Ceramics are such a tactile thing, and I'm always happy to show my work in person if possible! ;)
