This is a whimsical village of ceramic houses in an "old world" style. Each house has a different personality with intricate details. These are made from solid porcelain clay and have a heavy, sturdy feel in the hand. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish. When put together, this village measures 4 1/2 inches wide.
What would one do with a little village of clay houses? This would be a lovely natural toy for a Waldorf or Montessori household. These would also be a wonderful housewarming gift or a unique get well present.
These will be carefully packaged in upcycled bubble wrap.
Materials - Porcelain Clay, Nontoxic Glaze
All of my ceramics are handmade by me in Columbia, MO
All materials used are non-toxic
Based in Columbia, Missouri, I am a small batch potter! I work at my local neighborhood studio and work in ceramics as often as I can until my summer job as a wedding photographer starts up! If you are local to Columbia, feel free to reach out. Ceramics are such a tactile thing, and I'm always happy to show my work in person if possible! ;)
