Old World Style Polish Ceramic Houses with Cat and Heart
Old World Style Polish Ceramic Houses with Cat and Heart

This is a village of four ceramic houses in an "old world" style, modeled after homes in Poland. Each house has a different personality with intricate details, and I love how they fit together like a puzzle! I love the tiny cat silhouette in the top window of the last house! These are made from solid stoneware clay and have a heavy, sturdy feel in the hand. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish.
When put together, this village measures 4 inches wide and the tallest house is 2 3/4 inches tall.
What would one do with a little village of clay houses? They look adorably unassuming perched on a shelf, but will be the first thing guests ask about! People often use them for terrarium decor. Some incorporate them into fairy garden landscapes. These would also be a wonderful gift for someone who loves adventures and traveling!
These will be carefully packaged in bubble wrap.

Based in Columbia, Missouri, I am a small batch potter! I work at my local neighborhood studio and work in ceramics as often as I can until my summer job as a wedding photographer starts up! If you are local to Columbia, feel free to reach out. Ceramics are such a tactile thing, and I'm always happy to show my work in person if possible! ;)
