This is a unique bud vase "house" made from ceramic stoneware clay. This house has a single hole drilled (and fully glazed to be water tight) to hold a little bouquet of flowers, a pencil or a few feathers! I love the dots on this house and the stairway through the clouds to a yellow door. I love how the little dots trail around the sides of the house too. Overflowing with whimsy!
This house is 3 1/2 inches tall and has a heavy, sturdy feel in the hand. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish.
What would one do with whimsical house vase? This would look adorably unassuming perched on a shelf. People often use them for get well gifts or housewarming gifts. This would make an awesome get well gift with a sprig of herbs.
