This is a small ceramic cottage with a rough striking surface for matches on the roof. This little match striker has an array of "sunshine rays" that are filled with colorful polka dots that make up a rainbow pattern! It holds roughly 40 matches and has a tiny hole to discard the used match. This little house works with any "strike anywhere" matches (sold separately because I can't legally ship them!). The striking surface is easily wiped clean with a wet rag.
DIMENSIONS: This match striker is 2 3/4 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches deep.
Made from stoneware clay, and fired at cone 6, I use non-toxic underglaze for color and a non-toxic glaze finish. This would be a wonderful addition to a table centerpiece for lighting candles, or as a housewarming gift for someone with a fireplace!
These will be carefully packaged in upcycled and/or recyclable packaging.
