This is the sweetest little village of tiny ceramic houses. I love the fronts of the houses with cobblestones, butterflies and hearts. Every house has a different personality with intricate details and these fit together like a puzzle. All put together, this village measures just over four inches wide. These are made from solid stoneware clay, and fired at cone 6. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish.
What would one do with a little village of clay houses? This would be a wonderful gift for anyone who likes nature or traveling! People often set these on a window sill where they say looking at them brings a smile to their face! Some folks set them up at their kitchen table as part of a centerpiece.
These will be carefully packaged in upcycled bubble wrap.
Materials - Stoneware Clay, Nontoxic Glaze
All of my ceramics are handmade by me in Columbia, MO using nontoxic materials.
Based in Columbia, Missouri, I am a small batch potter! I work at my local neighborhood studio and work in ceramics as often as I can until my summer job as a wedding photographer starts up! If you are local to Columbia, feel free to reach out. Ceramics are such a tactile thing, and I'm always happy to show my work in person if possible! ;)
