This is a unique ceramic match striker shaped like a house and with a whimsical storybook vibe. It has a red door and a tudor style peak on the front. This miniature house holds roughly 50 matches and has a rough striking surface with a brick pattern on the left side of the house. This house also has a tiny hole to discard the used match. This matchstriker works with "strike anywhere" matches (sold at grocery stores) and the striking surface is easily wiped clean with a wet rag.
Made from solid clay, I use non-toxic underglaze for color and a non-toxic glaze finish. This would be a wonderful addition to a meditation altar or as a gift for anyone who loves functional art.
