This is a whimsical village of ceramic houses in an "old world" style similar to the famous Bruges houses. Each house has a different personality with intricate details with arched windows and a moon and stars. These are quite tall, each being about 3 1/4 inches tall. When put together, this duo measures 2 1/4 inches wide. These are made from solid clay and have a heavy, sturdy feel in the hand. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish.
What would one do with a little set of clay houses? They look adorably unassuming perched on a shelf, but will be the first thing guests ask about! People often use them for terrarium decor. Some incorporate them into fairy garden landscapes. These would also be a wonderful housewarming gift or a unique get well present.
These will be carefully packaged in bubble wrap.
Materials - Stoneware Clay, Nontoxic Glaze
All of my ceramics are handmade by me in Columbia, MO
All materials used are non-toxic
Based in Columbia, Missouri, I am a small batch potter! I work at my local neighborhood studio and work in ceramics as often as I can until my summer job as a wedding photographer starts up! If you are local to Columbia, feel free to reach out. Ceramics are such a tactile thing, and I'm always happy to show my work in person if possible! ;)
