This is a unique ceramic match striker shaped like a house and with a wave pattern on all sides! This miniature house holds roughly 35 matches and has a rough striking surface on the roof. This house also has a tiny hole to discard the used match. This little house works with any "strike anywhere" matches (sold separately because I can't legally ship them!). The striking surface is easily wiped clean with a wet rag.
Made from stoneware clay, and fired at cone 6, I use non-toxic underglaze for color and a non-toxic glaze finish. This would be a wonderful addition to a meditation altar or as a gift for anyone who loves the ocean.
