This is a unique ceramic match striker shaped like a house and with a whimsical cabin vibe. The front door has a little moon on it! This miniature house holds roughly 50 matches and has a rough striking surface with a fern pattern on the roof. This house also has a tiny hole to discard the used match. This little house works with any "strike anywhere" matches (sold at grocery stores). The striking surface is easily wiped clean with a wet rag.
Made from solid clay, I use non-toxic underglaze for color and a non-toxic glaze finish. This would be a wonderful addition to a meditation altar or as a gift for anyone who loves functional art.
