This is my favorite match striker yet! This striker house had a unique pattern with swimming fish on all sides and a swirly blue door! Shaped like a house (with a front door and windows), this little bungalow holds roughly 50 matches and has a rough striking surface on the roof. This little house works with any "strike anywhere" matches, and comes a box of matches.
Made from stoneware clay, and fired at cone 6, I use non-toxic underglaze for color and a non-toxic glaze finish.
This piece has a larger hole to hold the matches, and a smaller hole to discard used matches. This would be the perfect unique addition to a cottage mantle over the fireplace, or a unique birthday gift.
This will be carefully packaged in upcycled wrapping materials.
