This is my favorite match striker yet, and no surprise – has a ton of details. The front has a little owl and three swirling hearts. It also has a yellow door. The backside of the house has a whimsical woodland design with deer, rabbits and birds. This match striker holds roughly 40 matches and has a raw striking surface on the roof! This little house works with any "strike anywhere" matches.
Made from solid stoneware clay, and fired at cone 6, I use non-toxic underglaze for color and a non-toxic glaze finish. The strike mark is easily wiped clean with a wet rag if you're into a pristine roof. :)
This would be a wonderful, unique gift to anyone who loves candles or has a fire place in a new home!
