This is a lovely miniature ceramic match striker that is shaped like a house, with a door and windows! There is one large bicycle stamped on the front with hearts and a sunshine on the back. This little vessel holds roughly 30 matches and has a raw striking surface on the roof. This little house works with any "strike anywhere" matches (purchased separately because it's against the law for me to ship them!). The strike mark is easily wiped clean with a wet rag if you're into a pristine roof. :)
Made from solid clay, and fired at cone 6, this house has a sturdy feel. I use non-toxic underglaze for color and a non-toxic glaze finish.
This clay house is 2 1/2 inches wide by 1 3/4 inches tall and, and 1 1/4 inches deep. It would be a wonderful housewarming gift or birthday gift for someone who loves cycling or an outdoorsy person in your life.
This will be carefully packaged safely in upcycled bubble wrap and packaging.
