This is one of my favorite bud house vases I've made yet. The stone texture was made with the end of a smooth stone I found along the Missouri River. This house has a single drilled hole that hold flowers, propagation starts or a pen or pencil. I love the little brick chimney on this house!
DIMENSIONS:
2 1/2 inches wide
3 inches tall
1 1/4 inches deep
This house is made from solid clay and has a heavy, sturdy feel in the hand. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish.
What would one do with a ceramic bud vase house? This would look adorably unassuming perched on a shelf. People often use them for get well gifts or housewarming presents. This would make a great birthday gift for someone who loves gardening.
This will be carefully packaged in upcycled wrapping to ensure a safe delivery.
Materials - Stoneware Clay, Nontoxic Glaze
All of my ceramics are handmade by me in Columbia, MO
All materials used are non-toxic
Based in Columbia, Missouri, I am a small batch potter! I work at my local neighborhood studio (SquarePeg) and work in ceramics as often as I can until my summer job as a wedding photographer starts up! If you are local to Columbia, feel free to reach out. Ceramics are such a tactile thing, and I'm always happy to show my work in person if possible! ;)
